Christmas Spending

Christmas!! What a wonderful time of the year. Yet, for many it means blowing the family budget and going further into debt. Some 48 million Americans still have last year’s Christmas spending on their credit card bills. Many feel that it has to be that way, because it has always been that way. Does Christmas have to mean debt? I don’t.  Average Americans are heavily in debt. 78% of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck and spend 24% of their income on consumer debt (credit cards, car loans, etc.).
